When most Mograph Artists think of particles, they think of a bunch of dots floating around on screen like fairy dust or something.
I like to think of particles as an army of Mograph lemmings. They do your bidding and can be made to behave a certain way. In this video I’ll demonstrate what I mean by using Trapcode Particular to make leaves grow out of an animated vine.
This isn’t typically what you think of Particular being used for, but it works AMAZINGLY well for animations that need to be triggered at a certain point in time, like a leaf growing.
