Maxon attacks with the clones, Cavalry adds deformers, and Cascadeur makes character animation much less painful.
This week, we're diving into Maxon's December 2025 update that brings some seriously cool stuff like MoGraph Cloner Advanced Distributions, Liquid Flow, and Redshift's tessellation-free displacement. Cavalry 2.6 beta just dropped with powerful new deformers that'll change how you approach text and texture animations, plus we've got Cascadeur's AI-powered interpolation making character animation way less painful.
We're also checking out Octane's Gaussian Splat support, and some really cool practical work from Stripe and Apple that shows the pendulum swinging back to handcrafted creativity. Oh, and Rive was used to build Spotify's 2025 Wrapped, which is pretty massive if you're paying attention to where interactive motion design is headed.
